Georgios Goridis

Georgios Goridis, born and raised in Koufalia, Thessaloniki, discovered his passion for cooking at a young age. By the age of 19, he had already opened his own restaurant. Eager to broaden his culinary horizons, at 24, he ventured abroad, where he honed his skills in Mediterranean and Japanese cuisine.

Upon returning to Greece, Georgios worked at several renowned restaurants in Northern Greece and Hydra. His expertise also extended to consulting for over 250 restaurants across the country.

Now, as the executive chef at our restaurant, Georgios Goridis, along with his talented team members Michalis Patounas and Ioannis Goridis, brings a wealth of culinary experience to Astakos. Their culinary philosophy focuses on fresh, local fish, creating dishes that are both innovative and rooted in tradition.
